This review applies to version 1.0. The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

APLI Label is a program to design and print mailing labels and packets. This program is specially designed to be used with APLI products, but the labels you design with it can be printed on stationery products manufactured by other brands, provided that the labels have the same size. You can use both laser and inkjet printers, and you will find specific labels for each printer type.

You can insert pictures, text, lines, rectangles, shapes, dynamic text, symbols, counters, and barcodes in your designs. The program supports almost any type of barcode standard. You just need to enter the text and/or the numbers needed to create the right bar code, in the format of your choice. When needed, you can also print the text used to create the barcode. It also allows you to import data from a database.

This program is one of the utilities bundled in the APLI SOFT PRO suite, which also includes the programs APLI CD Label, APLI Business Card and APLI Hobby and Papers. It is not available as a standalone program – the provided download link will get you the complete package. This program is compatible with Windows 98, ME, NT 4, 2000, XP, VISTA and Seven. The interface supports fourteen languages.

Pros

  • It is free.
  • It supports nearly all barcode standards.

Cons

  • None.
